Chaos unfolded at a press conference in Dallas on Thursday afternoon. A spokesman for Carmelo Anthony’s family filmed a jab with Austin Metcalf’s father.
Anthony is accused of fatally stabbing his fellow 17-year-old Austin Metcalf at the April 2 high school track competition in Frisco, Texas.
Austin’s father, Jeff Metcalf, was about to attend a press conference on Thursday, led by Dominic Alexander, head of the Next Generation Action Network, an activist group speaking on Anthony’s behalf.

Metcalf confirmed with Fox News Digital and was escorted from the event under the threat of criminal trespassing.
“The preliminary investigation asked one person to leave the area and determined that they did so safely,” Dallas police told Fox News Digital. “No crimes have been reported.”
Anthony faces first-degree murder charges allegedly killing Metcalf during a conflict under a tent at a track competition.
He was released from the Colin County Jail after the bond was reduced from $1 million to $250,000.
The press conference dealt with more than $450,000 in Gives Endgo funds donated to the Anthony family after his arrest and rumors that the rumors were inappropriately used. The second focus was supposed to be Kayla Hayes, Anthony’s mother, who read the statement on behalf of the family prepared by the lawyer.

Slain Texas Teen’s twin brother, mourning mother, “lost my best friend in the blink of an eye.”
However, this event was left to accusations of racism and prejudice, along with Alexander’s warning of Jeff Metcalf, before any topic was discussed.
“At the beginning of this press conference, what we saw as his father attending this press conference is, these are my words – don’t quote anyone – to downplay the dignity of his son,” said Alexander.
“The next generation of action networks have respected the loss of life from the start, regardless of what they say about it. We kept our opinions,” he said. “We are not attacking. We are not sharing any information shared with us about Austin Metcalf as we respect the dignity of life and loss.

“It’s just rude and showing you all the characters,” Alexander said. “He wasn’t invited. He knows it’s inappropriate to be close to this family, but he did that. So I speak more eloquently to people than words.”
Alexander said Jeff Metcalf wanted to focus on politics and prejudice.
“What he fell [sic] Into is a political operative who wants to make this a hateful, prejudiced, yet racist political,” he said.

He then moved on to the issue of online fundraising.
Alexander said none of the money from GivesEndgo was spent and otherwise the proposal was “intentional misinformation.”
“Let’s be clear,” he said. “The family has not received a dime.”
Alexander then ranted about the Frisco Independent School District’s plan to expel Anthony a month before graduation. He said Anthony has a 3.7 GPA and that he can still graduate even if he doesn’t go to class for the rest of the year.
Austin Metcalf’s stab wounds have devastated our entire community, says Greg Willis.
He also appeared to subtly change the blame for Metcalf’s death from Anthony to the school district.
“As someone who is still a child’s manager, you are responsible for the safety of your child,” he said. “And it seems like Frisco ISD is trying to push this by making it [the decision to expel Anthony] That they don’t need to make. ”

“While Frisco ISD cannot comment on individual student disciplinary records due to student privacy laws, it can provide general information about district protocols and related laws,” a district spokesperson told Fox News Digital.
“If the school recommends being expelled, meaning that students will be excluded from school, students are not permitted to go to Frisco ISD property while the decision is being made,” the spokesman said. “A meeting will be held where students can share the side of the story and present evidence. After the meeting, the district will decide whether to pass the expulsion and let students and parents know.”
Before finally handing over the meeting to Hayes, Alexander commented on Judge Angela Tucker, a Black Republican, who will be hosting the case.
“But the ugly attacks on her show that no matter what you choose to vote for the ballot box, or your constitutional rights, it shows Black America.

Emotional Hayes spoke only briefly.
“Our family is under attack,” she said. “What you’re thinking is, what happened between Carmelo and the Metcalf boy, my three younger children, my husband and I, I was threatened, harassed, and didn’t lie.”
She said such lies put her family at risk and put her in danger along with the community and those involved in the investigation.
“Our address and my husband’s previous employer’s address are listed on all social media platforms,” she said. “My husband had to take a vacation because he was afraid of what would happen to our family.”
She said her husband’s mental health is getting worse and her daughter is afraid to sleep in her own bed.
Hayes repeats Alexander’s sentiment, and says that giveendgo’s funds are not being used by his family at all.

After Hayes spoke, Alexander went back to the issue of race.
“These racist paranoids try to prevent us from standing up for our babies, our boys, so he should be given the same rights that Kyle Rittenhouse had, Daniel Penny and whatever their defense is,” Alexander said.
“No one in public media has one video, but I got a video of Kyle Rittenhouse, where the AK-47 shot three people behind,” he said. “We got it and he publicly raised over $2 million, and no one said anything about it.”
Jeff Metcalf previously told Fox News:
“Don’t politicize this. It’s… this isn’t about humans. This person made bad choices and had an impact on both my family and my family forever.”
Metcalfe added, “Austin was the light of my life.”
He said in “American Report” that Austin died in the arms of his twin brother, Hunter.
“They were very tight. They had the best bond. They were best friends,” Metcalf said of the pair. “And now I have to focus on caring for the hunters.”
Metcalf also mentioned forgiveness.
“People ask me, how can you forgive this other person? I said I’m forgiveing others. “His life will be destroyed. My life will be destroyed.”

Metcalf was killed after an argument under a tent at Memorial High School in Conquer Meet. An arrest report from the incident said Anthony “grabbed his bag, opened it and reached it,” and told Metcalf “touch and see what happens.”
The next moment, an eyewitness told police that Anthony “reached out his bag and the man took a knife from the bag and stabbed Austin.”
Witnesses said Officer Anthony ran away after stabbing him. Metcalf died in the arms of his twin brothers.

Anthony said Responding School Resource Officerwho cuffed him upon arrival, he was protecting himself. The officer also pointed blood to Anthony’s left middle finger.
One corresponding officer called Anthony a suspicious suspect. According to the report, Anthony made a “voluntary statement.”
Anthony also asked executives if Metcalf was “alright” and asked if what happened could be considered “self-defense,” the report said.
