A forever friend of the royal family.
Prince George looked all grown up in his 11th birthday portrait released on Monday, but eagle-eyed fans spotted an adorable detail in the picture: the braided friendship bracelets that his sister, Princess Charlotte, and grandfather, King Charles III, wore this summer.
The future king looked dapper in a black suit in the photo taken by his mother, Kate Middleton, 42. He appeared to pair the businesslike look with the same embroidered thread bracelet he wore with his navy suit to the Euros final on July 14.
King Charles III, 75, and Princess Charlotte, 9, also rocked the handmade-look jewelry as they shared a friendly friendship at recent royal events.
Fans have speculated that the dress was designed by Princess Charlotte, who wore two of the dresses while attending Wimbledon with her mother, Kate Middleton, 42, and aunt, Pippa Middleton, 40, while Prince George and his father, Prince William, 42, were in Germany.
While watching the men’s tennis final, she wore a navy polka dot dress, pink Ray-Ban sunglasses ($102), and pink, purple, and rainbow bracelets.
Her grandfather (aka the King) wore a similar style ring on his wrist during an official visit to the Channel Islands with Queen Camilla last week.
The Queen waved to crowds in Guernsey on July 16, wearing a gray suit, white dress shirt and bracelets made of twisted fuchsia and white thread.
Perhaps one of his grandsons created the style so that they could stay close (and in sync) wherever they went.
