Surfing for Sussex!
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were spotted having a fun family day with their son, Archie, at Santa Claus Beach in Carpinteria, California, on Friday.
The six-year-old prince seems to have inherited his father’s athleticism as he was seen taking surfing lessons. It’s kind of cute, actually, seeing him get into the spirit of things.
Archie was first introduced to the public earlier this year when he took surfing lessons with Harry.
On Friday, the couple watched their son enjoy the water and relax on the sand. Interestingly, their daughter, Princess Lilibet, didn’t join them for the beach outing.
As for their attire, Meghan wore a white shirt with rolled sleeves and shorts, pairing it with a beige sun hat to ward off the sun. Harry opted for a grey T-shirt and black shorts, topped off with a tan baseball cap.
It’s nice to see them embracing casual family moments. Prince Harry is also known for his own surfing attempts after receiving lessons Meghan set up for him.
This sighting comes just a few weeks after they shared how they celebrated July 4th. Meghan posted on Instagram about their Independence Day festivities, featuring a fun spread of food and snacks arranged in the colors of the American flag.
Markle and Harry have been married since 2018, tying the knot in a widely-watched ceremony at Windsor Castle. They welcomed Archie in 2019 and Lilibet in 2021.
Meghan has often expressed her admiration for Harry as a father, dubbing the last Father’s Day “the best” one yet.
