Prince Harry and Meghan Markle suddenly part ways with four additional staff members as their staffing issues persist

Recently, four individuals from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s teams have left their positions, as confirmed on Friday by Page 6.

In the wake of the couple bringing on new advisors, their deputy press president based in Los Angeles, Kyle Boulia, and British spokesperson Charlie Gipson have quietly stepped down. This development was also highlighted by Hello! on Friday.

Additionally, there are reports of two other members departing from individual teams in the last few weeks.

Earlier this year, Exguchi was appointed as their Chief Communications Officer following the launch of a new team under Meredith Kendall Maines.

Maines provided a statement on Friday, noting that as Markle and Harry’s business and philanthropy expand, they opted for professional agency support to achieve more traditional communication strategies, which had been previously mentioned in Forbes and PR.

She elaborated that the move would increase their support staff from a two-person team to eight, enhancing their reach across five time zones and improving response times for international media inquiries.

Boulia and Gipson had been on board since April 2024, with Boulia previously working at United Talent Agency and Gipson being associated with Edelman as a brand manager.

Insiders suggest that further changes may be on the horizon, mentioning that while Meghan and Harry attracted top talent, it seems things didn’t quite work out as expected.

Previous staff complaints hint at a difficult work environment. Last summer, Josh Kettler left after just three months, and in January, others spoke out against the alleged toxic atmosphere, describing it as incredibly challenging.

Interestingly, one former audio producer defended Markle, portraying her as a kind and genuine individual.

Meanwhile, Dr. Sophie Chandauka, chairman of the charity Sentebale, co-founded by Harry, criticized the recent claims about the couple’s work dynamics.

The couple announced their exit from the charity in March.
