Prince Harry considering all possible ways to safely bring his kids to the UK

Prince Harry is looking into “all options” to bring his children, Archie and Lilibet, to the UK, though he has safety concerns to consider.

A representative for the Duke of Sussex mentioned on Monday that the main “issue” regarding their trip—along with Meghan Markle—centers on whether they will get adequate security during their stay.

“Prince Harry’s itinerary in the UK includes both public and private events across various locations,” the spokesperson stated. “Safe accommodations are just one part of a comprehensive security strategy, since risks are linked to individuals rather than locations.”

The spokesperson clarified that the Royal Family and the VIP Executive Committee, known as RAVEC, need to determine the security measures for Harry and his family, making it a complicated matter.

“Thus, without that independent assessment, it is challenging to gauge if the current safety measures are appropriate,” the spokesperson added.

Ultimately, Prince Harry is “still exploring all options” to ensure a safe visit, hoping his children can experience Britain positively.

The former royal couple, residing in Montecito, California, is currently on vacation in Europe ahead of their anticipated UK visit, which is planned for July—their first since 2022.

Sources say Harry, who’s promoting the Invictus Games set for next year in Birmingham, is eager for his children to meet his father, King Charles, who is battling cancer.

Nonetheless, there are indications that Harry might reconsider the trip altogether, as his legal struggles concerning security with the UK government remain unresolved. He has expressed concerns about wanting his children to avoid the overwhelming presence of paparazzi as soon as they land.

A source shared that Harry feels “distraught” over only being offered private security at the royal residence during this potential visit.

Since leaving his official royal role in 2020, Prince Harry has faced challenges with security arrangements. He has returned to Britain several times since, including last year when he sought to contest a security decision unsuccessfully. Meanwhile, Markle has not been back since Queen Elizabeth’s funeral in September 2022.
