Setback for Prince Harry’s Eco-Friendly Venture

Prince Harry has encountered a setback with his eco-friendly company, Travalyst, following the resignation of its CEO earlier this year.

Sally Davy, who has been at the helm, officially resigned and is scheduled to leave the role in December.

A source remarked, “This is a huge blow to Travalyst. Sally played a significant role in its development,” reinforcing the impact of her exit.

After five years in charge, Davy expressed that her decision was driven by a desire to spend more time with her family. “This decision wasn’t made lightly,” she stated, adding that after careful consideration, she felt it was essential to prioritize her personal time.

She also acknowledged Prince Harry’s influence, saying, “I appreciate your vision and support.” While stepping down, she reassured her commitment to the mission of Travalyst.

Davy’s resignation follows the departure of Indgary Martin, the company’s first chairman, who left less than two years into his tenure.

Since Harry launched Travalyst, a nonprofit based in London aimed at promoting sustainable travel, in 2019, it has seen multiple senior staff changes. In fact, Gary Martin, who joined in 2023, marks the 19th senior staff member to resign over the last five years.

Harry, as the face of Travalyst, has faced scrutiny lately. It came to light that he was still utilizing private jet flights, leading him to acknowledge that “no one is perfect,” and that there’s always room for improvement.

He said, “I primarily travel commercially, but occasionally, special circumstances arise for my family’s safety.”
