Prince Harry to travel to UK following King Charles’ cancer diagnosis

Prince Harry will soon travel to the UK to meet King Charles III, who was diagnosed with cancer on Monday.

A source close to Prince Harry said the Duke had spoken to his father about the diagnosis and was planning to visit Her Majesty in the coming days.

The shocking diagnosis comes less than 15 months after the 75-year-old king ascended the throne, and was revealed in a statement from Buckingham Palace on Monday afternoon.

“Additional concerns were noted during the King’s recent hospitalization for an enlarged prostate,” the palace said in a statement. “Subsequent diagnostic tests identified a type of cancer.”

“His Majesty today began his regular treatment schedule, during which time doctors have advised him to postpone official duties.

“During this period, His Majesty will continue to carry out his state and official duties as normal,” the palace added.
