Prince William and Kate Middleton have fostered strong family ties over the years. Their three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—seem to have developed even tighter bonds than what might be captured in the media.
Interestingly, during recent celebrations, George, who is 11, and his younger siblings have shown that they often seek each other’s advice. For example, at a military event over the weekend, this dynamic was clear.
As the Prince and Princess of Wales attended the event, cheers erupted when the trio—ages 11, 10, and 7—was seen riding in carriages down the mall. At one point, George and Louis were sharing a laugh during a conversation, with Louis asking his brother for advice on whether he should wave to the crowd.
“Should I wave?” Louis inquired, and George’s response was a casual, “It’s up to you. I can’t believe how sunny it is,” displaying a blend of brotherly encouragement and typical sibling banter.
In a heartwarming moment, Louis suggested, “Let’s do it together!” motivating George to join him in waving to the gathered audience. Meanwhile, Charlotte waved alongside their mother, creating a lovely family spectacle.
The royal family later gathered on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the traditional wave to the crowd during the Royal Air Force flypast.
At one point, Princess Catherine sought to get Louis’s attention during the ceremony honoring King Charles’ official birthday. Although Louis tended to get a bit distracted, she reminded him to stand for the national anthem, saying, “Louis, stand,” a command noted by lip reader Jeremy Freeman.
Almost immediately, Louis straightened up and focused on the anthem. Alongside his parents and siblings, he was also present with King Charles and Queen Camilla as the event concluded.
This occasion was particularly significant for King Charles, especially in light of his ongoing health challenges. He addressed the public with a message of unity following his recent diagnosis.
