Prince William brings Princess Charlotte to her first international soccer game.

Prince William had a bit of a surprise when he brought along an unexpected guest to watch the English women’s national soccer team. At the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 final in Switzerland, he and Princess Charlotte took a moment to snap a photo together. They were there to cheer on the Lionesses, as the team is affectionately called.

This event was Charlotte’s very first soccer match outside the UK. Royal officials shared photos on their social media page, where fans quickly noted how much she resembled her father.

One fan remarked, “Charlotte is chasing her dad so much! The genes are strong ❤❤♥. Looks like a lovely day, go Lioness!” Another added, “I’ll copy the paste from her daddy,” highlighting the fun similarities between them.

Many admired the sweet moments between father and daughter, with comments like, “It’s great to see Charlotte enjoying such beautiful moments with her dad,” and “So sweet! Father-daughter moments ❤️.” While this was her first overseas soccer match, it wasn’t her first outing. In August 2022, she attended an official convention with her parents, marking a notable solo appearance.

At just 7 years old, Charlotte won hearts when she made funny faces in front of a laughing crowd. Recently, she was also seen at the Wimbledon Men’s Singles final alongside her family, having attended events previously with her mother.

During a visit to St. Michael’s England High School in April 2024, Prince William shared some of Charlotte’s beloved jokes. Talking about the importance of humor, he tried to channel a comedian’s energy by incorporating typical “dad jokes” into his conversations with the students.

He mentioned, “I think all I do is make a joke, a favorite joke from Charlotte,” before launching into a knock-knock joke that had everyone chuckling.
