Prince William, Prince George surprise fans at Euro Final after Kate Middleton’s Wimbledon appearance

Shortly after Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte’s mother-daughter outing at Wimbledon, Prince William shared some father-son time with Prince George.

Prince Charles took his eldest son to the UEFA Euro 2019 final between England and Spain in Germany.

The 42-year-old is chairman of the Football Association, the governing body of English football, and often attends matches with Prince George.

The two of them watched the match together with great enthusiasm, with high stakes for the country.

Prince William shared a video of himself and Prince George entering the stadium on X, writing, “Hello Berlin!”

England ended up losing and the father of three My condolences to the X team. “It just wasn’t meant to be this time. We are all so proud of you. Move forward, @england. W.”

King Charles also sent a message to the team on social media, writing, “While you may not have won tonight, my wife and I wish you and your support teams the best of luck.”

He continued, “Anyone who has participated in sporting activities at any level will understand the despair of a result like this when you are so close to winning and will join me in sending my heartfelt sympathy as I congratulate Spain. However, know that the success of reaching the European Championship final is a truly incredible achievement in itself and one that should bring much national pride for the Three Lions today and undoubtedly for the many victories that lie ahead. Charles R.”

The father-son outing came shortly after Kate Middleton attended the Wimbledon men’s final with Princess Charlotte and Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton.

“Great to be back at Wimbledon! Nothing beats a championship,” Middleton said of her return in a social media post.

Middleton’s visit to the game marked Prince Charles’ second outing since announcing his cancer diagnosis in March – she also attended the Royal Flag Ceremony in June.
