Prince William and President-elect Trump had a “great meeting” during a meeting in Paris on Saturday.

During the conversation, the topic of Duchess Kate and King Charles III's health issues came up, and the president-elect shared some positive insights about their health.

“I asked him about his wife, and he said he was fine. And I asked him about his father, and he's fighting hard. He loves his father, and he loves his wife. So it was sad,” Trump said. told the paper. .

Prince William, who has been sporting a beard in recent months, also received praise from President Trump.

While in Paris, Trump and William also met individually at Notre Dame Cathedral with world leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

Prince William was seen shaking hands and talking with First Lady Jill Biden, who attended the ceremony on behalf of President Biden and representing the United States.

It was the first meeting between the two men since Trump won this year's election. The two last met in 2019 during Trump's first term as president on a state visit to the United Kingdom.

In 2022, William also met with President Biden, who was in Boston to receive the Earthshot Award.

President Trump also met with then-Prince Charles in 2019, and Clarence House said at the time that the two had a “good working relationship.”

At the time, Trump told ITV he had only planned to meet Charles for 15 minutes, but they ended up talking for more than an hour about the environment.
