Pro-Palestinian demonstrators at the Princeton University encampment have launched a hunger strike to raise awareness of the starving people of the Gaza Strip.

“Princeton students begin hunger strike in solidarity with Gaza!!” the group wrote.
PIAD said that as part of the hunger strike, protesters would “abstain from all food and drink” except water until their demands were met.
“We dedicate ourselves to the liberation of Palestine,” the group continued. “Princeton, listen! We will not be moved!”
PIAD added that it would go on strike until its demands were met.
PIAD calls on university authorities to meet with protesters to “discuss demands for disclosure, divestment, and academic and cultural boycotts against Israel,” and for students who have been arrested or who have received disciplinary action. He demands that he be granted a complete pardon.
