Princeton Volunteer and LGBT Activist Possessed Child Pornography

Roy “Trey” Farmer, an LGBT activist and Princeton alumni volunteer, was arrested on child pornography charges near Princeton’s campus on Friday.

The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office announced that a man involved in several organizations associated with Princeton University and its alumni has been charged with possession of child pornography. Confirmed Go to NJ.com.

The man has been identified as Princeton University alumnus Trey Farmer, who is no longer an employee of the school but remains an alumni volunteer. He is reportedly charged with one count of possession of child sexual abuse material, a third-degree felony.

Farmer was arrested Friday at a condominium he owns near the university, across from the main campus gate.

In January, the nonprofit National Center on Missing and Exploited Children alerted the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit to information that someone in Mercer County had uploaded content that appeared to be child sexual abuse material. Prosecutors argued that the problem goes back to Farmer. The department added that it also executed a search warrant on Farmer’s apartment and seized “several items of evidentiary value.”

Farmer graduated from Princeton University in 1993 and reportedly is involved in or leads several university-affiliated groups. Princeton University Glee Club Foundationthe Queer Princeton Alumni Association, of which he is president.

According to his biography on Queer Princeton Alumni, the 53-year-old has performed with classical chamber concerts, Istanbul State Opera and Ballet, London Symphony Orchestra, Naples Music Club, Opera Napoli, Stay Inmei. He has also served as a festival executive. WebsiteDaily Voice report.

Links to alumni group websites now display an error message that says “The page you were looking for could not be found.”

The website says, “There was an error in the URL you entered in your web browser,” or “The page you are looking for has been moved or deleted.”
