A former NCAA football player was among those killed in a mass murder in New Orleans on New Year's Day 2025.
Martin “Tiger” Beck, who played three seasons for the Princeton Tigers from 2016 to 2018, primarily as a kick and punt returner, has reportedly died.

FBI officials have confirmed that Jabbar was carrying an ISIS flag at the time of the attack, and the killing is being investigated as a terrorist attack.
