Pro-Hamas Protester in NYC Cheered Terrorist Group’s Murder of American-Israeli Hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin

During an anti-Israel protest in Manhattan on Monday, a Hamas fanatic said that Israeli-American hostage Hersh Goldberg Pollin, 23, “deserved to be killed” by the terror group, in a shocking video captured on camera by pro-Israel influencer Lizzie Savetsky.

On Saturday, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers discovered Goldberg-Polin's body in Gaza, nearly a year after she was held hostage by Hamas.

The Instagram video, which garnered more than 30,000 likes and 5,000 comments in less than 24 hours, shows Dr. Ira Savetsky, believed to be Savetsky's husband, being confronted by an unidentified man in his car.

The man told Dr Savetsky that Goldberg-Polin “deserved to be killed”, angering Dr Savetsky.

“Has he got what he deserved!” he cried in amazement, and asked, “Why?”

“What business does he have there?” the man replied.

Savetsky stressed that the 23-year-old man had been enjoying a festival with friends before he was captured by the terrorist group on October 7, 2023. The man later made the absurd claim that “it was Israel, not Hamas, that killed him.”

“Hamas released the video themselves. They are proud. They are proud. And you are supporting these terrorists,” Dr. Savetsky responded.

“Yes,” the man replied, then drove off with Palestinian flags on both sides of his SUV.

The video and captions also detail a stressful moment when the Savetskys encountered protesters as they tried to bring their young children home from lunch.

“We were walking home from lunch with our families, totally distraught, only to be prevented from crossing the street by soulless supporters of terrorism shouting for more violence,” a post from Lizzie Savetsky's account read.

At one point, Dr. Savetsky spoke with an NYPD officer and said he was outraged that protesters were marching through the streets “proudly supporting Hamas terrorists.”

The officer told Savetsky to “think about your family.”

“I think about the future of the families who live in the city… I don't want my children to grow up in a city with proud terrorist sympathizers,” he said.

During the march, organized by Within Our Lifetime and Healthcare Workers for Palestine, protesters were seen openly chanting “Go to hell, Israel!”

Earlier in the protests, a pro-Palestinian protester was also seen hitting a man over the head with a tambourine, whom he described as a pro-Israel opponent.
