Pro-women group’s tour bus vandalized for wanting to protect women’s sports

The Independent Women’s Forum said Friday that a bus its members were using for their “Take Back Title IX” summer 2024 bus tour was vandalized by suspected pro-transgender extremists while stopped in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

The “Take Back Title IX” summer 2024 bus tour will mark “the last annual celebration of the landmark Equal Rights Act before the Biden Administration’s illegal rewrite overturns Title IX as we’ve known it. The new regulations strip away all sex-based protections in education, undermine women’s rights, and require schools to accommodate male self-identification into women’s spaces, opportunities and sports.” according to to the “Our Bodies, Our Sports” coalition.

“Gender ideology is an abomination”

“She laid an egg. [and] “It has been desecrated with foul language and misogynistic messages. Radical gender ideologues who want to erase femininity are trying to silence us. We will not back down. Women will not be silenced,” IWF said, sharing a video of the vandalism.

One of the messages written on the bus read: “Jesus loves transgender people and will not tolerate your nonsense.”

“Gender ideology seeks to destroy, not to understand, uplift, listen or reason. At Pride we are taught to value love and acceptance. Thank you for showing your true colors – we couldn’t have done more ourselves,” IWF added.

“So trans rights activists aren’t as tolerant, accepting, welcoming and inclusive of everyone as they say they are? It’s shocking. It’s terrible,” said Riley Gaines, a former college swimmer and women’s sports activist. Said In response to the video.

“Gender ideology is abhorrent, yet it has been treated as if it is above the law. So extremists have desecrated our fun, positive Title IX buses, thinking no one can touch them. This is illegal, offensive and filled with bigotry. We must stop this dangerous force.” I have written May Mailman, director of the IWF Independent Women’s Law Center;

According to the tour schedule, Bass could visit nine other cities before Chapel Hill, including Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and Scottsdale, Arizona. At least three more cities are scheduled for the tour, including Washington, DC, and Nashville, Tennessee.
