Puka Nacua recently took the opportunity to express his interest in Sydney Sweeney, even if just playfully.
In a conversation with *Cosmopolitan*, the star of *Euphoria* shared the qualities she seeks in a partner. She mentioned wanting someone active and family-oriented, and Nacua believes he could fit that role. “She’s athletic, social, and funny. I need someone adventurous, someone who’ll join me in climbing mountains or going skydiving,” Sweeney said. They’ve been in a relationship for over seven years but have kept it under wraps. “And, you know, I love my family too…” she added, with a hint of disbelief at how the conversation flowed.
When Nacua, 24, noticed a quote posted on X by Complex, he couldn’t resist responding with a tweet saying, “I love skydiving.” It’s uncertain if Sweeney, 28, ever noticed his post. Since she wasn’t directly mentioned, someone took the liberty of tagging her along with a doctored image of Nacua in a Rams jersey, seemingly ready to skydive.
If ever there was anyone to catch Sweeney’s attention, it might just be Nacua. Coming off an impressive season with the Rams—who reached the NFC Championship—he caught a record 129 passes for 1,718 yards and scored 10 touchdowns over 16 games, becoming a key player alongside quarterback Matthew Stafford.
His stellar performance earned him first-team All-Pro recognition.
The Rams’ season finished strong with a 12-5 record, advancing through several playoff games but ultimately losing the Super Bowl 31-27 to the Seahawks, led by Sam Darnold.
It remains to be seen if Nacua’s efforts will win Sweeney’s heart more effectively than the spotlight on the Lombardi Trophy.
Earlier this year, Nacua and his previous partner, Harry Aiono, welcomed their son, Kingston. Aiono had filed court documents in June to formalize their parental relationship. Nacua commented on Aiono’s Instagram post announcing their son’s arrival, proudly saying, “Welcome King ❤️🩹.”
