Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday celebrated his victory in the US presidential election and said he was “ready” to hold talks with Donald Trump.
“I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate him,” Putin said in remarks at the Valdai Forum in Sochi.
Asked if he would be willing to meet with President Trump, the Russian leader said, “I am ready.”
