The gunman who shot former President Donald Trump may have been arrested, but many questions remain about the assassination attempt.
and Glenn Beck I want the answer.
First, the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, somehow managed to enter the secured area without being alerted to the Secret Service, even though supporters in the crowd had pointed him out before the shooting began.
“How do you get a rifle on the property? How do you know the building is there? [it] “What the hell was going on with him wandering around in front of a metal detector? The police tried to chase him, but, oh, he got away,” Glenn says conspiratorially.
“How could she have thought that the highest point in the venue would not be guarded?” he added. “There just happened to be a convenient ladder there.”
“Nobody from the Secret Service, no drones, no stuff we’re paying millions of dollars for, nobody got him,” he said, noting that it was not without help from a crowd that was yelling that a man with a rifle was climbing a ladder onto the roof before Crooks fired the first shot.
“Why did the shooter aim at him for over a minute before firing? Why did the officer climb up the ladder to look around? The officer ducked down and climbed down the ladder as the man pointed his gun at the officer,” Glenn said, adding: “Did he call anyone to warn them?”
Not only was the situation surrounding the shooter himself interesting, but the Secret Service agents also didn’t seem to have control over the situation.
“How can the Secret Service have bodyguards?” Glenn began. “How can a woman who can’t even reach Trump’s nipples be a bodyguard? How can she protect the president’s body with her own body? How can another female Secret Service agent pull her gun four minutes late, look around not knowing what to do, and not be able to holster it because she’s a stand-in for Melissa McCarthy?”
Meanwhile, our nation’s debt is nearly $40 trillion.
“Can’t you just hire a few people to ensure the safety of the candidates?” Glenn asked, confused.
“Joe Biden has also said we shouldn’t speculate about the shooter’s motives, but one thing we can speculate about is that he wanted to kill the Republican presidential candidate. Can we agree on that?” he added.
