QuickTrip Customer Shoots and Kills Alleged Robber

Around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, a QuickTrip customer in Charlotte, North Carolina shot and killed the alleged robbery.

My Fox 8 report A robbery was reported, and when police arrived, the suspected robbery opened fire in the parking lot and drove off.

WBTV I got it. Bullets were fired into the air, but no one was injured.

However, the robbery suspect then swerved back towards Quick Trip and headed towards a customer filling up with gas, leading to an altercation. The customer pulled a gun and shot the suspect dead.

Leroy Boyd, who works at an oil change business across from Quicktrip, witnessed the unfolding incident.

Boyd said, “It’s a shame. It’s very unfortunate indeed.”
