The Longhorns were nearly perfect on third downs in the first half, racking up 279 yards of total offense to Michigan's 88. Ewers was equally sharp, completing 18 of 26 passes for 203 yards and two touchdowns to help Texas lead a commanding 24-3 lead by halftime.
Michigan quarterback Davis Warren, who had just 49 passing yards entering the second half, improved in the second half and finished with 204 passing yards and a touchdown. But it was too late, and Michigan's defense couldn't counter offensive coordinator Kyle Flood's tactics.

Texas improved to 2-0 behind Ewers' hot streak, which included 260 passing yards and three touchdowns in a 52-0 win over Colorado State last week.
Texas is SEC Schools, They seem to have a chance to win a conference and national championship.

Michigan now faces serious questions about whether it can defend its national title, a task that will be made more difficult with Harbaugh and 13 other players leaving for the NFL at the end of last season.
