Rabbi Shmuley Boteach was harassed by anti-Israel activists while skating in Manhattan on Monday night, according to a video Boteach posted online.
In the video, several young men fist-bump Boteach on the ice and then admit to harassing him, alleging “genocide” and “apartheid” because Boteach supports Israel's war against Hamas. They are trying to justify their actions by claiming that.
When I was skating in midtown Manhattan, New York City, an anti-Semitic, Israel-hating, Hamas-supporting thug came up to me on the ice, yelled for Palestine, and threatened me while I was on the ice. exposed to Leave me alone. Boteach is well known for his writings on cultural topics and his relationships with Hollywood stars and politicians, but he is rarely the target of abuse.
Recently, he has been harassed by anti-Israel activists throughout New York, including Times Square.

Boteach hasn't shied away from controversy, but since he's been on the ice, it seems like conflicts are brewing even when he's thinking about himself.
Anti-Semitic attacks have increased dramatically in the United States and around the world since Hamas launched terrorist attacks against Israel on October 7.
