Award-winning singer Rachel Lampa debuted a new song celebrating her son Leo on Friday. Her new song, Superpowerthe chorus declares, highlighting his joy and smile. Leo was born in October 2022.
Lampa released a new song on World Down Syndrome Day.

“I'm extremely honored to be able to sing for my son who has Down syndrome,” Lampa said on Instagram. Really The holy and beautiful beauty that God has offered to me and my family – to walk with someone who has such light and the gifts that bring to the world. ”
“We're going to celebrate him today,“ She said. “And we want to celebrate the entire Down Syndrome community, and we celebrate people with Down Syndrome, their families and siblings, friends, therapists, teachers, and everyone surrounding people with Down Syndrome, especially those with Down Syndrome. we just I love you. In another Instagram video, Lampa thought of what he knew when he learned that Leo had Down syndrome. “The baby I've always wanted and dreamed of – he's just about to be.“
“Some people think he's grown and he's growing, but for us he's just right – and we're too fast to begin with.“ Rampa said.
Leo said, “Looking at the world without a filter,“ She said.
“I wish I had known that I was looking at the world and trying to see people with more compassion, more joy, and more, and the desire to ensure that everyone is important regardless of the number of chromosomes they have.“ She said.
