The Las Vegas Raiders' defeat of the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday may have complicated the draft position, and fans of the team noticed it.
Had the Raiders lost, they would have dropped to 2-13 and would have been in a close battle with the New York Giants for the No. 1 overall pick. But the Raiders won and the Giants lost. This result dropped Las Vegas to 6th place.

As fans raged against the Raiders on social media, head coach Antonio Pierce addressed the critics when speaking to the media.
“I'm not doing this to lose,” he said. pro football talk. “We're not doing this for somebody's fantasy football team. We're not doing this for somebody's draft predictions. None of that matters to us. I All that matters to us is winning, and that's all we want.'' “

Las Vegas is in the midst of its worst season in franchise history. Three wins is far from the expected number, as the team narrowly missed out on the playoffs last season when Pierce replaced Josh McDaniels as head coach midway through the season.
The Raiders have only made the playoffs twice since losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Super Bowl in 2002. They haven't even made it out of the wild card round.
