Raiders’ Maxx Crosby admits recent surgeries have ‘been a struggle,’ but he’s optimistic for his health

Instead of playing in the playoffs or attending the Pro Bowl in Orlando, Florida, Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby started his offseason under the bright lights of an operating room.

After being selected to the Pro Bowl three years in a row, the Raiders defensive end underwent knee surgery and then hand surgery.

He played through the 2023 season despite suffering from a bursal injury in his knee.

He gave an update on his health in a recent interview with Fox News Digital.

“I had two surgeries in two weeks, so it was tough. I’m not going to lie,” Crosby said. “But that’s part of the game. I mean, it comes with it. Everything has a price. I feel a lot better. We’re moving in the right direction. … Things are different But I’m fine.” ”

He finished the season with career highs in sacks (14 1/2), tackles (90) and tackles for loss (23). He added 31 QB hits and 55 solo tackles to his tally.

Just as taking care of your oral health is important to Crosby, taking care of your body is also important to Crosby.

Crosby is one of more than 400 NFL players who have received Invisalign treatment. The company has been the league’s official clear aligner brand since 2020. Invisalign is also a sponsor of NFL Honors, and Crosby was nominated for Defensive Player of the Year.

He told FOX News Digital that he had never worn braces but wanted to get his teeth straightened properly.

“I hated dentists. I still hate dentists. They do a great job. Like I said, it’s all about confidence. They’re the best at what they do. It helped me a lot,” he said of the brand. .
