Rampage Jackson Addresses His Son’s Incident

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson shared his thoughts after his son, Raja Jackson, was involved in a serious altercation with professional wrestler Stuart Smith.

Just three days after the incident, Rampage took to a live stream to express his feelings about his son’s actions. “I regret what occurred with Syco Stu. I absolutely do not condone my son’s behavior,” he stated. “Justice will take its course, and I really just hope you’re okay.” The weight of the situation seemed palpable in his voice.

He mentioned that the altercation could have been worse but was intervened before escalating significantly. Rampage reflected on his responsibility as a parent, saying it’s essential to support his son and stand by him, no matter the circumstances.

“In moments like these, you just do what a father does. It’s not easy. There are times when you’re proud of your child, and times when you’re not so proud,” he noted. “But at the end of the day, I’m still his dad.”

Rampage also expressed a hope of someday meeting Syco Stu to make amends. “It would be nice if he could forgive us and understand that things aren’t always so straightforward,” he said, perhaps reflecting a longing for resolution.

The aftermath of the incident saw Smith hospitalized, with reports suggesting Raja had aimed to cause serious harm. A wrestler who intervened during the event claimed Raja’s actions were extreme, stating he wanted to “kill” Smith.

Rampage mentioned receiving various death threats and facing racial slurs, expressing frustration at individuals in the combat sports community who have revealed their prejudices. “It’s disheartening, especially when such comments come from those you’d think should represent better,” he said, hinting at a larger issue within the sport.

“Attempted murder isn’t something to take lightly,” remarked an MMA commentator, who also noted the broader implications of these situations. “Rampage calls it out, but it’s also about acknowledging the problems that lead to this kind of behavior.”

Currently, Raja is facing an investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, and it remains to be seen what legal consequences he may encounter.
