Rams playbook pilfered from lineman Conor McDermott’s car

Don't you think it's the NFL equivalent of “the dog ate my homework”?

That, of course, is “The Car Thief Stole My Playbook.”

In fact, the thief who broke into Rams linebacker Connor McDermott's car was after his iPad.

Coincidentally, this was a team-issued tablet that contained LA's entire playbook.

The device also contained player-specific personal information, nutritional guidelines, and schedules. According to a report in the Miami Herald on Thursday.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the car was parked in a residential area at the time of the theft. Police are continuing to investigate the matter, but no arrests have been made to date.

As if Sean McVay didn't have enough headaches.

Rams fans can only hope they have more success in remotely wiping their devices than their team did in Weeks 1-5 against the Packers, Bears, Cardinals and Lions.
