The Los Angeles Rams selected wide receiver Puka Nacua in the fifth round of the spring draft, joining a team that already features veterans such as Cooper Kupp, DeMarcus Robinson, Ben Skowronek, Tutu Atwell and Tyler Higbee. As an option for Matthew Stafford.

Nacua had a dominant performance in the first two games against the Rams, catching 25 passes for 166 yards and emerging as a candidate for Offensive Rookie of the Year. Although he didn't have more than 10 receptions outside of the first two games of the year, he still managed to set a rookie record.
