One site I frequently visit is 506 Sports.

As sports blogs have expanded, 506 Sports was among the pioneers who truly identified and occupied its niche. The concept is straightforward: it tells you which games will air where and who will be announcing them. Each Wednesday, I’d eagerly check the map, wondering about the games available in my area—would I get to watch the match I want at home, or would my wife and I end up at the nearest Elephant and Castle in downtown Washington, DC?

As time has passed, there are more prime time games, and the NFL Sunday Ticket has made many games available nationally. Yet, my reliance on 506 Sports hasn’t diminished. If it meant receiving emails from families across the country on a Sunday asking if they could catch the New England Patriots game locally—that’s a different discussion altogether.

Trust me, it’ll work out.

Looking at this week’s NFL map from 506 Sports, there’s a doubleheader on CBS. Most of the country will catch the Kansas City vs. Denver game in the afternoon, but for those in the Baltimore and Cleveland markets, the Browns vs. Ravens matchup is expected to air during that same window.

Sorry, Mom, I think I’m stuck watching the Ravens vs. Browns this Sunday afternoon.

Meanwhile, over on FOX Sports, there’s only one game happening this weekend. Depending on your location, you might miss out on one of the season’s best matchups.

It’s the FOX Sports broadcast map provided by 506 Sports. That shade of blue indicates that NFL fans in those areas will not only get to see the 7-2 Seattle Seahawks face off against the 7-2 Los Angeles Rams for NFC West supremacy, but it’s also a clash between two of the league’s top teams.

This game might have significant implications for the conference’s No. 1 seed.

It’s hard to argue against this being the game of the week—at least the one expected to draw a larger audience. Sure, the Lions vs. Eagles matchup stands out, and then there’s Sunday Night Football featuring the Buccaneers and Bills, though that will be played earlier in the day.

The Seahawks vs. Rams game showcases two of the top teams in the league, judging by the expected points added in both offense and defense.

Also known as the “DVOA bowl.”

The Seahawks lead the NFL in Total Defense Adjustment Value Above Average, while the Rams sit in second.

Additionally, the game features MVP contenders Matthew Stafford and Sam Darnold. According to the latest MVP odds from Fan Duel, Stafford tops the list alongside Drake Maye at +300, while Darnold follows at +900.

This could genuinely be one of the season’s standout games.

It’s unfortunate that not more fans will get to see it.

But hey, if there weren’t an Elephant and Castle nearby…
