NFL Teams Unveil New Uniforms

This season, eight NFL teams will sport new uniforms, and to kick things off, the league brought in Randy Moss along with several other notable players for the reveal this week.

Teams from the AFC South and NFC North were chosen to participate in this year’s “Rivalries” program, with the new designs revealed to fans on Tuesday morning.

Moss, who recently overcame a battle with cancer, donned the updated purple and gold jersey of the Vikings to show it off to Minnesota fans, pairing it with stylish sunglasses.

In addition to Moss, players like Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams, Packers quarterback Jordan Love, Texans receiver Nico Collins, and Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner joined in the campaign, showcasing the new gear.

The NFL announced that each uniform pays tribute to the respective team’s community. For instance, the Packers incorporated “stock certificate-inspired details” into their numbers and sleeves to emphasize their unique fan ownership structure. The Vikings’ uniforms, on the other hand, draw inspiration from the Gjallarhorn.

The Texans have included chrome finishes, reflecting the city’s custom car scene, while the Titans added “neon-inspired numbers” and stripes inspired by guitars and amplifiers, according to the league.

The “Rivalries” program initially launched in 2025, featuring teams from the NFC West and AFC East, and was a major hit. A representative from Fanatics previously described it as the “best-selling merchandise release to date.”

This season, teams from the AFC South and NFC North will wear their new looks during one home game against a divisional rival. Teams that participated in the 2025 launch will also don their new uniforms for a specific regular-season home game.

The league plans to introduce more teams to the program in 2027 and 2028.
