The NHL's annual “Frozen Frenzy” will be held on Tuesday, with all 32 teams participating, with games starting at 6pm ET and a puck between the Los Angeles Kings and Vegas Golden Knights at 11pm ET. It culminates in a drop.
To celebrate wall-to-wall hockey, we're putting our best foot forward and coming up with a parlay that will turn this year's Frozen frenzy into a night to remember.

Rangers (-245) vs. Canadiens (+200), 7:15 p.m. ET
The Montreal Canadiens are a mess defensively right now.
The Habs have allowed “only” 20 goals in their first six games, but their expected number of goals conceded in all situations is 24.3, which is second-most in the NHL on a 60-point basis.
Montreal also has the dubious distinction of having the most shot attempts and expected goals per 60 minutes at 5-on-5.
Things are bad overall, and the Rangers, who are tied for first in the NHL with 4.8 goals per game, are probably the last team you want to play against in this particular situation.
The Canadiens have a fast-break offense that can cover some defensive weaknesses, so helping the Blueshirts win or covering the puck line is a little difficult at this price, but the Rangers' 4.5 You Can Play Over the Goal (+170) Seems like a good way to start this ticket.
Bet: Rangers Team Total 4.5+ (+170)
Islanders (-166) vs. Red Wings (+140), 7:45 p.m. ET
The Islanders are a tough team to trust at a price like this.
They already took a late couple of points lead in the third period at home, and three of the first five games went to overtime, but the overall process doesn't seem too bad.
The Isles are pushing their 5-on-5 play in the right direction, with goaltending looking solid and getting production from their depth scorers.
Still, this team has made too many mistakes to support this price.
The Red Wings, on the other hand, are struggling in almost every department.
The Red Wings are near the bottom of the NHL in expected goal percentage, are giving up too many dangerous scoring chances, and their goaltending situation is murky at best.
Therefore, this contest focuses on player props rather than supporting teams or totals.
Simon Holmstrom played in the first five games of the season on the Isles' third line, but with Anthony Duclair on the sideline, he will likely be promoted to the top unit along with Matt Barzal and Bo Horvat. Dew.
Holmstrom's offensive chops come in flashes rather than continuously, but considering Detroit's defensive issues, he should be in the best position to make his mark in this game.
The Bet: Simon Holmstrom scores (+475)

Colorado Avalanche (-122) vs. Seattle Kraken (+102), 8:30 p.m. ET
It's funny how a few wins can do something for a team that is struggling.
The Colorado Avalanche were like a dog's breakfast through their first four games, but wins over the Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks quieted the noise a bit in Denver.
But these two wins won't distract us from an uninspiring start to the season for one of the Stanley Cup favorites, especially considering their opponent.
The Abs need to sort out their goaltending, and their lack of depth has been exposed and they are still missing several key players.
Colorado's star players can pull the Avalanche out of many holes, but it becomes even more difficult against a deep team like Seattle.
Seattle is a good bet at +102 odds, but the Avs have a way of separating games, so it's also worth considering backing them to win by multiple goals. To add more power to this 4-leg parlay, throw them in to cover the alternate pack line (-1.5) at a good price.
The Bet: Seattle Kraken -1.5 (+235)
Would you bet on the NHL?
Boston Bruins (+114) vs. Nashville Predators (-135), 8:30 p.m. ET
The 0-5 Nashville Predators found themselves in a dire situation Tuesday night.
Prez certainly wasn't as bad as his stats indicated, but he wasn't very good either.
The biggest concern is the health of goaltender Jose Saros, who has had a relatively mediocre performance in the 2023-24 season.
Beneath the surface, Nashville appears to be on a bit of an upswing.
Their 5-on-5 numbers aren't terrible, hitting a league-worst 5.6% to start the season.
Everyone probably overestimated the Prets coming into the season after a flashy summer, but they should be better than this.
Meanwhile, the Boston Bruins are still finding their shape.
The Bruins have really struggled defensively and are relying too much on their goalie to bail them out. The offensive situation looks lukewarm for Boston as well.
I don't want to put too much stock into a team that absolutely has to win, but it seems like a good time to back a desperate team against a team that is a bit overrated based on their season so far. It seems to me.
BET: Nashville Predators (-135)
Parlay odds: 89/1 (+8953)
- Rangers team total 4.5+ (+170)
- Islanders' Simon Holmstrom scores (+475)
- Seattle Kraken -1.5 (+235)
- Nashville Predators (-135)
