There was some good news for the Rangers on Sunday out of Hartford.
Brennan Osman removed the cast on his wrist/forearm and skated with his Wolfpack teammates in a non-contact jersey.
It's a positive development for the 21-year-old forward, who was dropped just three games into the AHL season.
Osman was initially expected to miss four to six weeks in October, but it was later updated that he was on pace to return around Christmas.
Osman's return to the Rangers comes at a perfect time as the Rangers continue to struggle.
Despite a training camp overshadowed by other rookies, Osman played in the Rangers' final exhibition game and was one of the final round cuts.
He was battling a bad cold at the time, which definitely affected his performance.
