The rough patch between the Rangers and Hurricanes continued when the puck dropped in Game 3 in Raleigh.
When the whistle blew with 8:36 left in the first period and both teams tied, Jimmy Vesey said three Hurricanes players tried to drop his gloves and three Canes tried to fight him. As a result, he was confused with several Hurricanes players.
It looked like Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Vesey would finally face off, but officials jumped in as the Hurricanes player wrestled to the ground after the Rangers forward threw a punch.
As the referee sent Kotkaniemi and Vesey into the box, Barclay Goodrow started jawing Martin Necas and had to be pulled away from him.
But Goodrow’s attention quickly turned to the Hurricanes bench, where he continued to interact with just about everyone before the linesman pushed him back toward the Rangers bench.
Things didn’t end there.
Former Rangers Tony DeAngelo was seen on TNT calling out the Rangers during a game stoppage and taking aim at nearly everyone in the vicinity while he was on the ice.

The linesman stood between him and the Rangers, and the Blueshirts appeared to ignore the taunts.
The incident resulted in minor penalties for Kotkaniemi, Dmitri Orlov, Vesey and Goodrow.
The Rangers were leading 1-0 at the time of the incident after Jake Guentzel scored at 10:14 of the opening frame.
The Blueshirts lead the series 2-0 after two exciting games played Sunday and Tuesday at Madison Square Garden and are looking to advance to their second conference finals in three years.
Games 3 and 4 will be held at PNC Arena.
