Rangers outclassed by NHL-leading Jets for fourth straight loss

Winnipeg, Manitoba – The Rangers' losses have been piled up again.

Bruce Hart, who fell 2-1 to the NHL-leading jet at the Canada Life Centre on Tuesday night, dropped four times this season for the first time since December 22nd-30th.

With another loss, they tie a season-high five-game lost skid from November 21st to 29th.

This was a scoreboard watching night for the Rangers. The Rangers have narrowed down two overtime losers points from the past four contests.

Two points ahead, waiting for the Rangers at the end of the week, the Blue Jacket lost to the Devil, who managed to stay in third place in the Metropolitan Division despite the senator's victory.

Boston defeated the Panthers to tie the Rangers (match) with 68 points in the Eastern Conference Wildcard race. The Canadian (the Rangers game) also had the opportunity to join the tie for two points from the second spot when they faced the Canucks on Tuesday night.

It was just another night when the Rangers didn't want the playoffs to benefit.

For examples of how to close the game, rangers don't have to look ahead of the team on the other side of the ice on Tuesday night.

The Jets limited the Rangers to just five shots in goal, limiting two Heidanger opportunities with a final 20-minute regulation with each natural statistical trick.

Winnipeg goalkeeper Connor Helebuick is also a star, stopping 21 of the 22 shots he faced.

The Jets slid around and behind the Rangers with their first goal of the game. This was another example of how vulnerable their defensive structures have been these days.

Rangers goalkeeper Igor Shesterkin went all the way out to compete with Cole Perfectie, who cooked for a wide open shot to former Blue Heart Vladislav Namestonikov. Star Russia's netminder had to make 10 saves in just 20 minutes on the way to 22 night.

The Rangers, who scored a power play after Nino Niederreiter ripped Kandre Miller's helmet, scored their second goal in Man Advantage in the last eight games.

JT Miller has given Mika Zibanejad the goal for the fifth power play of the season. It was ranked 106th for the Rangers and the fourth most power-play goal in franchise history.

Despite surpassing the home team 8-6 until the second period, the Rangers were behind by goals.

Winnipeg capitalized one of the three powerplay opportunities in the middle frame, with Perfetti tied tightly with Gabriel Vilardi on a 2-1 lead.

They went from high slots to Dylan De Melo's one-timer early in the third season, to 3-1 game, but the Rangers managed to interfere with the goaltender.
