In the final injury of the season, and the latest setback in a tough year for the Rangers' longest-tenured player, forward Chris Kreider suffered an upper-body injury prior to Tuesday's game, causing a back-to-back injury on Sunday. He will be placed on the injured reserve. Game against the Stars.
Kreider missed Sunday's win over the Rangers against the Blackhawks and has just 13 goals and 15 points this season, but he has struggled most of the year and was announced by general manager Chris Drury in November as a member of the Rangers' team.
