Rangers’ plunge to rock bottom after 2024 highs could have lasting effect

If there's one classic roller coaster cliché to describe the Rangers' past year, it's American phenom Kinda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure.

The world's tallest and fastest roller coaster. Equipped with a hydraulic launch mechanism, the train accelerated to 198 mph in 3.5 seconds, reached the summit at an altitude of 456 feet, and then swooped down at a 90-degree angle, completing the ride in 28 seconds. .

Kingda Ka closed in November. It was around the time the Blueshirts descended a 90-degree incline.

The ride was discontinued due to mechanical failure, safety concerns, and maintenance costs. As well as defensive and organizational breakdowns, personnel and management issues and a poor locker room are also affecting the Rangers.
