The ju judge found rapper A$AP Rocky on Tuesday not guilty of two felony assaults with a semi-automatic firearm.
After Rakim Mayers' full name Rocky was read, he jumped into the courtroom gallery to embrace his longtime girlfriend, Rihanna, the Associated Press reported.
During trial, Rocky summoned his fifth amendment rights and waived his right to testify at a few weeks' trial in Los Angeles.
He was initially faced in 24 years in prison after dismissing a 180-day plea deal provided by the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office.

“Today's verdict is not the result we sought, but we respect the decision of the Jury and the integrity of the judicial system,” Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. In court, Rocky thanked the ju judge after the verdict was read. According to the Associated Press, Rocky “thank you for saving my life,” Rocky told the ju judge.

Following the verdict, the musician left court to share a statement with the media.
“We want to thank God first. We've come to thank God. We really want to thank the ju judges for making the right decision. This is so crazy now, this whole experience is It was crazy.”
During the trial, Rihanna attended the courtroom. At one point, she brought both toddlers' sons and when the verdict was read, she screamed and hugged her attorney, the Associated Press reported.

The “Praise the Lord” singer was charged with counting double felony charges resulting from the November 2021 Hollywood shooting, Fox News Digital confirmed at the time.

A debate broke out between Rocky and an acquaintance in the Hollywood area on November 6th, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The man he was accused of shooting was his former friend $ap relli, who suffered minor injuries to his hands.
