The rapper Blueface was stabbed in the leg by a stranger Wednesday morning while training at a boxing gym in Los Angeles for a fight.
The 26-year-old artist, whose real name is Jonathan Porter, is recovering from being hospitalized following the 10:30 am attack at Kaminski Boxing Gym in Reseda. The Los Angeles Times reported.

In his caption, he wrote that he would be unable to attend the match scheduled for October 14 because he was “stabbed by a random guy.”
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to the paper that the man had been stabbed and was conscious and breathing and was taken to a local hospital, but did not identify the victim as a blueface.
Police said the suspect fled the scene in a black Tesla Model S with no license plate.
In a video posted by Blueface, which shows an agitated man in a white tank top and jean top approaching the rapper wearing boxing gloves and a chest protector, TMZ shared with trainer David Kaminski. Another man I identified stepped in between them. You can also see a dog running around in the background.
The two are seen clenching their jaws back and forth before Blueface circles Kaminski and punches the suspect in the face with his right hand. The video then shows him throwing a few more punches.
The man seems to have stepped back and pulled a knife out of his pocket. The video cuts off before the alleged stabbing.
“He keeps coming up to me with staring eyes. I know that look,” Blueface narrated from another angle of the altercation.
He posted another video showing bloody bandages and told his fans not to worry.
“It’s okay because I just shot my leg. No need to blow up my cell phone or anything like that,” he said.
Kaminsky told TMZ A deranged man reportedly stormed into the gym and yelled at Blueface, “I’m going to kill you.”
No arrests have been made.
The rapper has been charged separately with attempted murder in Nevada in connection with the October 2022 shootings near Las Vegas Boulevard and Sunset Road, police said.
