Rapper D4vd hands over ownership of Texas homes to his mother after a swatting event.

Rapper D4vd recently transferred ownership of two homes in Texas to the mother of a 15-year-old girl whose dismembered body was discovered in an abandoned car. Reports indicate the 20-year-old musician, originally from Queens and now based in Los Angeles, completed the sales on September 18 and September 22.

This transfer coincided with a swatting incident involving one of his residences, according to the same report, which referenced legal documents.

During the swatting episode at his family’s Houston home, D4vd’s parents opened the door to police, with his mother assuring them that only her immediate family was present inside.

Identified as David Anthony Burke, D4vd has garnered attention and scrutiny following the discovery of Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s remains, which authorities found in a severely decomposed state in a Tesla at a Hollywood detention center on September 9. It is believed she had been deceased for weeks.

The mother of Rivas informed TMZ that her daughter had been dating someone named David, and some internet users have speculated further about the connection. Also, in a past livestream, D4vd had spoken about a girl named Celeste.

Strangely, following these grim revelations, an unreleased track by D4vd titled “Celeste” gained unexpected viral traction online.

In the song, he sings, “Oh Celeste, the girl with my name tattooed on her chest, smell her on my clothes like a cigarette.” This haunting piece has caught many people’s attention.

Despite a mishap during a recent Coachella performance where he failed to execute a backflip, D4vd has now postponed his upcoming album promotion and tour. All marketing activities have been stalled pending the outcome of the ongoing police investigation.

As of now, no charges have been filed against D4vd, who is cooperating with the authorities in Los Angeles.
