The former girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Laci Rice, Dakoda Nicole, posted on social media Wednesday, making serious allegations of domestic violence. She shared a collection of images showing damage to her home and injuries on her body, along with a lengthy caption that didn’t directly name Rice.
In her post, Nicole expressed frustration over remaining silent for too long. “I’m done protecting his image. I’ve endured too much over the past eight years, and I’ve had enough! Our breakup a few months ago has turned into a nightmare,” she wrote.
The couple shares two sons, named Kassai and Kayden. Nicole went on to describe various troubling experiences, including incidents of home invasion, infidelity, and even damaging her personal belongings.
“He was incredibly controlling,” she recounted. “He broke down the door to my new house multiple times and treated me poorly when I was pregnant. After discovering his infidelity, he locked me outside in freezing temperatures. He even destroyed my shoes and clothes.” She claimed there have been multiple cheating incidents and expressed her discontent over Rice’s involvement with their children, saying he is more focused on his own image.
“He left us in Kansas City and I had to plead for money just to get to Texas with our kids and our things,” she continued. “He’s trying to act like a devoted father but he’s really doing the bare minimum. I need to put my children first and reclaim my peace.”
FOX News Digital reached out to Rice’s representatives and the Chiefs but did not receive a response. Rice is currently serving a six-game suspension this season due to a violation of the NFL’s Personal Conduct Guidelines, which is related to charges stemming from a March 2024 car accident in Dallas.
In the crash, prosecutors allege Rice was driving a Lamborghini Urus at speeds of 119 mph and attempted to evade traffic before hitting another vehicle. He reportedly fled on foot after the incident. Rice faced charges for causing bodily injury through reckless behavior and racing on a highway, ultimately pleading guilty. A judge sentenced him to five years of probation and 30 days in jail, also ordering him to cover over $115,000 in medical expenses for the victims affected.
