Raskin to Bukele: 'Trump administration is not going to last forever'

Rep. Jamie Ruskin (D-Md.) had a warning to President Salvadra, President Naive Bukere about his growing relationship with President Trump.

As Ruskin joined MSNBC’s “Inside with Jen Psaki” on Sunday, days after Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) met with illegally exiled man Kilmer Abrego Garcia, informing him that Trump and Buquere would not return to Maryland.

“Look, President Bucchere is declared a dictator — and other tyrants, dictators, and the world’s dictators must realize that the Trump administration will not last forever,” Ruskin said.

“We intend to restore a strong democracy in America. We remember who stood up for American democracy, and who tried to direct us towards dictatorship and dictatorship.”

Ruskin’s remarks came as Buquel, who recently met with Trump in an oval office, called to get Abrego Garcia back to US custody.

The Supreme Court ordered the Trump administration to “promote” the return of Marylanders, but the order left room for the administration to sway his fingers at El Salvador for his return.

Van Hollen recently traveled to El Salvador to visit with Abrego Garcia, informing him of the political battle to bring him back to the US

Bukel took her to social media last week to laugh at the Maryland Senators’ meeting, saying the pair were “sipping around on margaritas.” Van Hollen rebutted Bukere’s remarks, saying that the drink was placed on the table by Bukere’s aide midmeat and the two of them never drank from them.

Ruskin said he is “very proud” of his fellow Maryland Rep. Van Hollen, who traveled to visit with Abrego Garcia.

“He continued this debate and restored humanity,” Ruskin said. He later added that Bukere and his government “trying to stage a false margarita scene there” in order to undermine the trip.
