Ravens' John Harbaugh Dismisses Reporter's Sarcastic Question About Trump White House Visit

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh recently opened up about his meeting with President Trump at the White House, addressing reporters with some pointed questions regarding the encounter.

Earlier this month, Harbaugh, along with his brother Jim and several families, visited 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

After the first day of Ravens training camp in Owings Mills, Maryland, Harbaugh discussed his meeting with the press. A journalist inquired about his thoughts on meeting Trump, especially given some of the controversial remarks the president has made about Baltimore, the Ravens’ home city.

In response, Harbaugh turned the focus back to the questioner.

“How did you frame that question? I would have asked: ‘You had the chance to meet the president. How was that experience?'” Harbaugh stated. “It was incredible. Truly amazing. I want to support our president just like I support my quarterback.”

Back in 2019, Trump referred to parts of Baltimore, represented by Democrat Elijah Cummings, as “a disgusting, rat-infested mess.”

It isn’t entirely apparent how these past comments relate to Harbaugh or his role in the community. There seems to be a disconnect, and it’s tough to understand the relevance of the criticisms aimed at Cummings.
