Baltimore Ravens Players Seek Swimming Help

While many players on the Baltimore Ravens excel on the football field, some are finding themselves out of their depth in the swimming pool. Recently, after admitting they lacked swimming skills, Marlon Humphrey and a few teammates reached out to local experts for assistance.

Michael Phelps, known as the most decorated Olympian ever, certainly has a wealth of knowledge about swimming techniques. In a social media post, Humphrey shared a video showing retired swimmers from Baltimore helping his fellow players, including safety Kyle Hamilton, offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley, and tight end Charlie Coller, as they stood in a pool.

In the video, Hamilton jokingly noted, “Did you know that one in three Ravens can’t swim?” Humphrey chimed in with an invitation, saying, “Come to this beautiful Aquatics Center during Ravens training camp and help us learn how to swim.” It seems they’re eager to pick up some skills.

Phelps expressed enthusiasm about the idea, responding, “I got y’all!!! Let’s do it!!!” Meanwhile, Koller mentioned that he hadn’t seen Humphrey’s post until after practice and mused, “I should have known, that’s true for the brand.” It’s amusing how communication sometimes travels in unexpected ways.

Phelps has an impressive record with 23 gold medals from his Olympic career and was even the flag bearer for Team USA during the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. This experience, combined with his willingness to help, could be a game-changer for the Ravens.
