The ugly marriage between the Baltimore Ravens and Diontae Johnson is over.
The Ravens acquired Johnson in October hoping to shake up an already solid offensive line.
Johnson did nothing but was released by the team on Friday.
The trade was a disaster from the beginning. In his first game with the team, Johnson had just one catch for 6 yards. That became the only drawback he had on the team.

The Ravens suspended Johnson earlier this month for refusing to play against the Philadelphia Eagles. Earlier this week, the Ravens waived him from practice.
Indeed, Johnson had to be relieved to be traded from the lowly Carolina Panthers to a team that is a legitimate Super Bowl contender. Now, he appears to be looking for his third team in recent months.

Johnson appeared in just four games with the Ravens.
The Ravens will host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday, so it speaks volumes that the Ravens gave up on him about 24 hours before an AFC North rivalry game that could decide playoff seeding.
Baltimore didn't lose much in the first trade, giving up a fifth-round pick.
Johnson's role in Todd Monken's offense was questioned before the loss to the Eagles and again after he sat out the game when Rashod Bateman went down with a knee injury.
