Christopher Bedford, Blaze Media’s Washington DC correspondent, has spent years exploring the dark depths of America’s capital, and this is the worst he’s ever seen.
While politicians live lavish lives, crime among residents is rapidly increasing.
“There have been three shootings in my neighborhood in the last month because they are not afraid of the police. Also, Washington, D.C. and other cities in the United States have been hit by a massive Great Depression. “It’s not like there was an actual outbreak of disease and a breakdown of law and order,” Bedford said.
“This is deliberate suicide by the city council,” he added.
But one politician in particular is doing extremely well despite the city crumbling around him. That’s Barack Obama.
“You know it’s Barack Obama having a good time in Washington, D.C.” James Pross says Bedford.
“You shouldn’t live in Washington, D.C., and do what he’s doing in that mansion. It violates decades of precedent that says, ‘When you leave the office, you’re supposed to get out of town.’ “I did,” he added.
Bedford knows why.
“He’s still in charge,” he says. “He has complete access to the White House. He holds meetings and makes phone calls whenever he wants, his Kalorama Heights mansion has visitors coming and going, and I don’t know which aspects of the White House are run by him.” I just want to know if it’s happening.”
