Brandi Glanville’s Health Concerns Over Possible Infection
Brandi Glanville has shared her worries about potentially contracting a condition known as ringworm, specifically indicating it might be affecting her throat.
The 53-year-old reality TV star discussed her health issues related to former adult film actress Lisa Ann during a recent episode of her podcast, “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered.” Glanville suspects she may have picked up the infection on a date with someone from the adult film industry.

Lisa Ann mentioned that ringworm is quite frequent among performers in her line of work, adding that many aren’t aware of the signs to look out for when it comes to diagnosing it. Ann pointed out the importance of training makeup artists to check for any spots on new talent, as these infections spread easily.
The Mayo Clinic clarifies that ringworm is a contagious fungal infection, affecting skin, hair, and nails. Interestingly, it doesn’t actually stem from a worm. Glanville initially thought she had a simple throat infection until her girlfriend pointed out her symptoms.
“I was completely in the dark about it, and now we’re dealing with this strange issue,” she explained, noting that she has undergone numerous tests with no clear conclusions yet. “You can see it on the skin, but it can also burrow deeper, like into your throat,” she added, showing her concern.
She remarked that her partner might have contracted the infection before passing it to her, especially since he has a history of wrestling. “I believe it’s a mix of staph and ringworm, but honestly, I’m not totally sure,” Glanville admitted.
She has previously spoken out about dealing with significant medical challenges—including facial paralysis—which she believes stemmed from a parasite picked up during a trip to Morocco in 2023. Initially diagnosed with stress-induced angioedema, her symptoms persisted, leading her to seek further evaluation.
Doctors have suggested that there could indeed be some underlying parasite issue, but no one has definitively identified it yet. As for her angioedema, it is described as an allergic reaction that affects deeper skin layers and can occur alongside other symptoms. Despite concerns, Glanville remained unconvinced that angioedema was the main issue, prompting her to prioritize her health and pursue answers.
In February, Glanville discovered that she also had a ruptured breast implant linked to her ongoing health issues. Prior to this revelation, she had reportedly spent over $70,000 seeking answers to a medical conundrum that has significantly impacted her life and appearance.
