Realtor mother says she didn’t accept money from tycoon to leave her husband, insists her 'difficult marriage' ended before filing for divorce.

The mother of a real estate agent, who reportedly was offered millions by a real estate executive to leave her husband, insists she “never received a dime” and that her “terrible” marriage had ended well before she filed for divorce.

Paige Steckling has responded after her ex-husband filed a lawsuit against Tamir Poleg, the CEO of Real Brokerage in Utah, claiming he disrupted their marriage with an inappropriate proposal.

“I wanted to handle this cleanly, without anyone having control over me,” Paige, a mother of two, said, denying she received $3 million from Poleg to part ways with her husband.

“The claims being made publicly don’t reflect my life experience or my marriage,” she added.

Her ex, Michael Steckling, contends in the lawsuit that he never thought about separation until Poleg became involved and started pursuing Paige.

However, Paige, who is an independent agent working with Poleg’s company, stated that the marriage started to break down soon after their wedding in 2013.

“My marriage was terrible,” she remarked. “There was a period where we didn’t have sex for an entire year. It was awful.”

Paige claimed her former spouse was frugal and needed “financial support.” She mentioned having discussed the millions offered by Poleg with her ex. “Michael and I talked about Tamir giving me financial backing, but ultimately I said I didn’t want it, didn’t need it, so I would not accept anything,” she explained.

“It felt like a last-ditch effort in our marriage. Michael was quite wealthy and threatened that if I tried to leave, he would ruin me in court. So, I sought financial help as a backup. But I never needed it. I never got a cent,” she continued.

Page filed for divorce in February of last year, and shortly after, Poleg emailed her with details on how to access the promised $1.5 million in two payments.

“My marriage ended because it was incredibly unhealthy and unsustainable,” Page clarified.

“After years of dealing with emotional harm and boundary issues, I chose to step away for my own well-being and that of my children. This decision wasn’t impulsive, nor was it due to an affair,” she noted.

Poleg acknowledged offering financial help but maintained that it was just that—financial support—after learning about the marital issues.

“There were no offers, no romance, no interference,” he stated.
