Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran saw a surge in jersey sales on MLB’s merchandise website, despite being suspended for responding to a heckler with a vulgar remark.
Duran was suspended for two games on Aug. 12, 2024, for his reaction to a heckler during the sixth inning of a 10-2 loss to the Houston Astros.

Duran’s Conspiracy
