Reese Witherspoon Celebrates 50th Birthday in Nashville
Reese Witherspoon marked her 50th birthday with a celebration at Laney Wilson’s Bayou Keys bar in Nashville. It was quite the gathering, with many calling her the “star of the ball” that night.
The venue was transformed for this private event on March 21, attended by notable guests such as Nicole Kidman, Isla Fisher, and Mariska Hargitay.
A source mentioned, “Reese was the beauty of the ball. The room was filled with so much love for her all night, and she seemed genuinely happy surrounded by family and friends.” Another source described it as an “iconic party for an iconic woman.”
Witherspoon’s children, Deacon, Ava, and Tennessee, were all present to celebrate. Deacon even shared a slideshow on Instagram capturing some memorable moments from the festivities.
In one of his posts, he affectionately referred to his mother as the “goat,” which, you know, I think really highlights their close bond. The images included both old professional shots and fun moments from the party where Reese, dressed in a sparkling silver dress, embraced her children.
Deacon also posted a snapshot of himself with his mother at the celebration and a shot from behind the DJ booth, adding a personal touch to the memories being shared. He included a variety of images featuring Reese, including one where she was enjoying a drink.
Interestingly, Deacon’s father, Ryan Phillippe, commented on his post with just a smiley emoji, which I suppose captures his feelings without needing much more. The former couple, who were married in 1999 and divorced in 2008, seem to maintain a cordial relationship, at least on social media.
As for Reese, she married Jim Toth in 2011, but announced their divorce this year, right before their 12th anniversary. It’s a bit of a mixed bag, really—celebration mixed with personal changes, but perhaps that’s just life.
