Bangladesh “strongly condemned” the terrorist attacks in Pahargam, a statement issued almost 24 hours after the attack.
A statement issued by Bangladesh’s Foreign Ministry on the handle of social media platform X said this afternoon, “Bangladesh strongly condemned terrorist attacks in India’s Jammu and Kashmir, tragically lost an innocent life.”
“Bangladesh expresses his deepest sadness to the families of the victims and expresses his sincere sympathy for all those affected by this heartless violence,” the statement said, adding, “Bangladesh repeats its unwavering commitment to a global battle with terrorism.”

The statement comes after several world leaders condemned the terrorist attack that lost 26 lives. This is what tourists who have been on vacation primarily in the Baisalan area are often referred to as “Miniswitzerland” due to their pasture and panoramic views.
Immediately after the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ statement, Professor Mohammed Yunus, the chief advisor to Bangladesh’s interim government, “expressed sadness in the loss of life in the terrorist attacks.”
“Excellence: Please accept my deepest sadness of dol for the loss of life caused by the terrorist attacks in Pahargam, Kashmir. I strongly condemn this heinous act.

However, when prominent world leaders condemned the incident and took no time to express their support for India, they question why Bangladesh has not yet issued a public statement about the terrorist attacks.
Major countries, including their neighbors in the United States, the UK, Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Italy, France, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, and even Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka, have also issued statements on the attack. The Bangladesh statement followed statements from a major power condemning the attack.
Pakistan has so far sought to deny the role of the attack, despite the fact that it continues to push fears towards India, particularly when tourism recovers in Jammu and Kashmir, which have led to the country’s economic progress. The terrorist attack in Pahargam district comes days after Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir described Kashmir as the “jugular vein” of Islamabad.
Resistancefront, a shadow group of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (let) terrorist group, has argued responsibility for attacks on social media messaging.
Working on the overseas Pakistan Conference held in Islamabad on April 16, General Munir spoke about Kashmir and said, “Our attitude is absolutely clear, it is our jugular vein, it is our jugular vein, and we will not forget it.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishak Dal is scheduled to visit Bangladesh this weekend as Dhaka tries to rebuild ties with Islamabad. However, as terrorism continues to emanate from Pakistan and fears supported by Pakistan from Bangladeshi prisons have been announced, foreign policy experts will be visiting Pakistan to visit the issue of terrorism in the region.
